Where am I?

You are meeting a friend for the first time in a while. You have spent a lot of time together in the past, but geography meant that it has been hard for you to connect recently. This is your reunion!

You enter the store - your friend half-heartedly smiles at you as you enter. It has been six months since you last spoke in person and you are slightly late.

When a meeting time is suggested, which is most appropriate?

You walk over to your friend with a big smile. She begins to smile more.

How would you typically greet a friend?

Good! Shall we go over and get our drinks?

You bet!

You get your drinks and walk outside.

I can’t believe how long it has been since I last saw you. It really has been too long!

*You give her a hug and there seems to be an awkward silence.

Why was there an awkward silence?

So where are we going?

I’m not sure, is there anywhere you specifically want to go? I know it’s been a long time since you were last here with me!

I’m fine wherever! What have you been doing for all this time, anyway?

Oh, you know, I’ve been busy.

You both sit down on a park bench.

Have you tried your drink yet?

Not yet! I've been too busy asking you questions.

You take a sip.

Yuck!

What?

I thought I'd ordered bubble tea, but I accidentally ordered fizzy water instead!
